The main function of the water purifier is to filter matters in the water pipe. Standing tap water forms toxic elements and bacteria in the pipes. Regularly cleaning water pipes can remove the dirt and bacteria on the pipe walls and extend the life span of the filter cartridge. Therefore it is necessary to clean the water pipes before installing the water purifier and when replacing the filter element.
